Health & Safety Committee This committee attempts to meet once per month. It is officially recognized by the NHRFR and is comprised of management, officers & firefighters. All aspects of health and safety on the job can be brought to the table for discussion and possible action. The NHFA treasurer is the firefighters board member contact.

Valor Committee This committee meets a few times per year and reviews all acts of valor and heroism that are submitted to them. They then submit our members’ acts of valor to other organizations such as the PFANJ, NJFMBA and the 200 Club of Hudson County for award consideration. They also run the annual NHRFR Medal Day Ceremony. This committee is officially recognized by the NHRFR. The NHFA Treasurer is the firefighters board member contact.

Public Relations Committee Included are events both for ourselves and events for the public. Most of these events are held in conjunction with the fire officers union. Note that these events can only take place if there is at least one extremely dedicated lead person plus a few volunteers willing to put some time in for each event.
